"BIO-FARMACY" IS OPEN: Precision Biology for the Modern Grower

Bio-based fertiliser products aren't just a single category—they are an entire plant and soil toolbox. The secret to success isn't just using them; it's knowing exactly WHERE, WHEN, and WHY to apply them.

With fertiliser and fuel costs continuing to rise, every input has to work harder. At Newwave Biotech, we're helping growers move away from the "snake oil" myths of the past and into the era of Precision Biologicals.

Trials proving our Biologicals are here to enhance and amplify mainstream farm inputs.

At NewWave Biotech, our latest trial results are proving that integrating biologicals into existing farming systems is the key to unlocking soil and crop performance. Biologicals are not here to replace mainstream products — they’re here to enhance and amplify them.

Current WA small plot trials using our products with other commercial
products to help growers adopt using our products with other trusted inputs.
Results are looking very impressive as at mid-September – many top performing plots are
treated with AMinoc and Yielder plus inputs like humates and MaxSil silicon fertiliser.

Our field trials across broadacre and horticultural crops are showing that when biologicals are used in conjunction with traditional inputs, plant growth, nutrient uptake, and yield potential all improve significantly. By building a system approach that blends both biologicals and synthetics, farmers are seeing stronger root systems, healthier soils, and crops that perform better through stress periods.

Early results also indicate that fertiliser efficiency can increase, as plants become better able to access previously locked-up nutrients in the soil and applied products.

This is the future of sustainable productivity — smarter, integrated farming with biologicals at its core.

Maximise Inputs Across Conventional Fertiliser Application

Maximise Inputs Across Conventional Fertiliser Application

Growing crops more profitably is getting harder in 2026 as fertiliser and fuel costs spike.

It could well be smarter to balance those inputs with ones that make crops more efficient at accessing fertiliser applied in past seasons and using this season's application more cost-effectively.

For example, you could top up your crops with microbes (AMinoc) that help plants unlock that bank of pre-applied fertiliser and couple that with a plant biotimulant like 'Yielder'. Yielder induces plants to make changes in their cells so they can take in more sunlight and CO2 to grow more efficiently and use the nutrients that AMinoc unlocks for your crops and pastures that they can't do by themselves.

Two strategies to think about for 2026:
- Maximise inputs across conventional fertiliser application + AMinoc + Yielder, especially in lower phosphorous responsive soils, or
- Balance inputs by lowering conventional fertiliser application rates under agronomic advice and adding AMinoc + Yielder to lower inputs costs/ha and keep your crops powering along until you have greater confidence in the season.

Both products can be applied as a seed inoculant or post emergence via foliar spraying or fertigation.
